Eternal Bliss
Sara L. Cushing , Washington, DC
Opening with red landscape, adrift with
what is described as "trouble on the horizon"
we are witness to transformations of sushi to pellets, which
fall into an unseen water source. The simplistic, often
child like, characters cavort around a mystical adobe house.
As one cycle opens to another, with literary reference to
"exchanging old dreams for new," the solitary
red "fish" continues its periodic glide bys. Finally,
as fireworks and magic carpets yield to fields of pimento
shapes and, once again, to the adobe house, the red "fish"
enters to produce an unexpected finale.
